Our flagship product, codenamed Saturn now became SCAN1000 v5 with other names with different configurations aimed at different markets. The family name of 'Saturn Bridge' used at this time was eventually dropped and SCAN1000 v5 used for the product.
We no longer produced expensive product leaflets as the internet had come into common use and documentation could now be easily emailed / downloaded in standard formats. We released a pdf booklet describing the product.
We produced a series of videos detailing the various Wizards used to simplify configuration. They can be viewed on the Wizards page.

Saturn Bridge is an advanced software suite designed to communicate with Factory Control Systems to create:
• Operator Control Screens (HMI)
• Data Logging Systems
• Management Information Systems
Saturn collects data from a wide range of Control and Measurement Systems via standard Modbus, OPC, DDE and custom drivers.
Version 5 includes many new features including:
• Built-in Web-Server, so that real-time displays can be viewed remotely as web-pages without the need for special software or additional licences.
• Built-in Modbus communications drivers to allow direct connection to controllers and instrumentation (Serial & Ethernet, Master and Slave)
• Improved OPC communications with enhanced resilience and security
• Improved OPC test server for development and support work
• Improved data recording facilities for advanced data-acquisition applications
• Enhanced access tools for recorded data
• Many new graphical objects for inclusion in custom display screens
• New application Basic scripting sub-system, including comprehensive debugging, on-line variable monitoring, etc.
• Serial port support added to Scripts to allow direct access to serial devices
• Enhanced database support for SQL, with inclusive MSDE server licence
• Centralised control of User Logon, Sensor Calibration and Alarm Settings for high security applications e.g. CFR21
