The software includes a PLC Network Emulator, which makes off-site development and support simple. 

If the PLC network (or OPC server) is not available then you can use the Hexatec Test Data server.   You can even use project documentation, for example an Excel Spreadsheet, to configure the test server to give the correct data tag names and the right data addresses.

Once the test server is configured you can use the New Project Wizard to build your project application, and then test it.  The Test Data Server also allows you to preset data values to test displays, alarms, etc.

When you are ready to connect, you can switch to the real data source, without needing to change any data tag addresses.  This works for OPC servers as well as the direct drivers (Modbus, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, DDE, etc).
