SCAN1000 -Scada: Restricting User Access - Operators, Engineers, Supervisors.
SCAN1000-Scada includes a security feature which allows control of user access. This allows developers to regulate which screens, within the system, that users can access
User objects allow you to create secure applications by
restricting access to certain ‘pages’ or ‘page objects’ (e.g. controls).
Users are normally assigned to user Groups. Making it easier to manage
multiple combinations.
Three user groups: Operators, Maintenance and Supervisors are predefined, and
up to five other groups can be added if required.
Access to protected options require a User logon, i.e. user name
and password.
A range of user options can be set to force: routine password change, centralised
storage of user details for multiple systems, auto logoff on inactivity, etc.
Note: Users are optional. That is, configurations can be designed
without any User Security.
