SCAN1000 -Scada software supports multiple language texts and most major character sets. Also it is possible to switch between different languages whilst running, so it is possible for western engineers to work together with local staff on the same system.
A wide range of character sets can be used to create
multi-language displays on user screens, including right to left text.
The example screen shows a combination of
Chinese and English text in the same display.
Using Multiple Language Text
Saturn fully supports Unicode character sets, so it is straightforward to
enter text in any language installed with your Windows operating system.
Simply switch to the desired
language and enter your text:
Two lines of text have been entered, one in English and one in Farsi (you are
not limited to two).
Character ordering is automatic and correct for the selected language. A simple
property setting determines which line is shown in the associated text object
when the project is running.
In the following example, the text content is switched by clicking buttons 1 or 2:
